We are Catlin Design, an interior design team including certified, highly trained, and experienced designers proficient in all aspects of the interior design process. We are a design family and undoubtedly a team in everything that we do.
Amy Boyett-Whiter, IIDA, NCIDQ
Amy received an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2001 and immediately formed her own company, working on projects ranging from restaurants to private and turn-key condominiums in south Florida. She later decided to change career directions and pursue teaching at Georgia Southern University where she was Program Coordinator and Associate Professor for the Interior Design program for 13 years. During that time she produced a variety of creative scholarly works that were published and/or presented to designers and educators, and she wrote a book chapter for Interior Design for the Curious: Why Study Interior Design.
A coastal South Georgia native, Amy has returned to her hometown and to the professional world bringing specialties in hospitality, healthcare, and commercial design. She has a vast knowledge of codes, regulations, universal design principles, and sustainability and is proficient in a variety of 2D and 3D visualization and graphic presentation technologies. Amy is also NCIDQ certified and has held a license as a Registered Interior Designer in Georgia for 11 years.
Kelly Boyett, ASID, NCIDQ
Born and raised in coastal South Georgia, Kelly is a southerner at heart. After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, she pursued a Master’s degree in Interior Design at Pratt Institute in New York and soon began her Interior Design career with notable New York City Interior Design and Architectural firms. Kelly is a NCIDQ certified Interior Designer.
In her 16 years of experience she has worked as Artistic Director, Senior Project Designer and Associate Senior Project Designer in a variety of design areas including high-end residential, hospitality, retail and commercial design. Her projects have been featured in design magazines such as Elle Decor, Traditional Home, and House Beautiful to name a few. She has also designed lighting, furniture, fabrics, and wall coverings for companies like Visual Comfort, Lee Jofa, and mantles for English based company Chesney's. As a Senior Project Designer at Catlin Design, she brings her high level of design experience, creative works, and project management skills to our clientele.
Jacqueline Reese, Allied ASID
Originally from a one stoplight town near Athens Georgia, Jacqueline now calls the Sunshine State her home. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design at Georgia Southern University and joined the Catlin team as an Associate Designer following graduation. Jacqueline is an advocate and active volunteer who has been involved with organizations that contribute to the needs of the community. Her enthusiastic personality, design education, and knowledge are an integral contribution to the design team. Her personal goal as a designer is to create spaces that reflect a needs-centered design, combined with aesthetics, and are unified by environmental sustainability.
Cathy has been involved in the design community and at Catlin Design as a Project Coordinator and Buyer for the past 17 years. She is a vital team member who coordinates multiple aspects of our projects. Cathy and her husband Bill, are highly involved in many community groups in Jacksonville. She has served as Past President of the Women's Board at Wolfson's Children Hospital, as well as a past Antique Show and Florida Forum Chair for Wolfson's Children's Hospital.
Janine has worked with Catlin Design for 14 years as our Accounts Manager and a Business Administrator. With an Associates of Art in Accounting degree from the University of Phoenix, her proficient project coordination, accounting, and business administration skills are vital to the company and to our clients.
